Now in its seventh year, this prestigious award is named after the late Professor Michael Pittilo, Vice Chancellor of Robert Gordon University, a scientist, educationalist and champion of inter-professional education. This essay prize is open to all health and social care students in the UK.
This year’s title is:
“Food the forgotten medicine; how can clinicians and patients maximise its potential benefits?”
Entries should consider the roles of patient dignity, self-management, health promotion, illness prevention, health worker resilience. Where possible please provide examples of good practice or innovation, projects are also welcomed.
