Now in its fifth year, our essay prize is named after the late Professor Michael Pittilo, Vice Chancellor of Robert Gordon University. Professor Pittilo was a scientist, educationalist and champion of inter-professional education.
An essay question is set annually in the late months of the year, with a deadline the following spring. Winners typically receive a generous cash prize as well as journal publication and a slot at our annual conference in the years when this is held.
